Definitely recommend!
During such an awful time, G Gamble & Sons made the process of arranging my father’s funeral as stress free as possible. I would like to give a huge thanks to Ben, who assisted me along the way & helped to create a special service for my father. They were happy to accommodate any wish I had for the funeral and guided me throughout the whole process. Also, the florist they used for the funeral flowers was amazing - they were beautiful and everything we could have asked for. I would definitely recommend G Gamble & Sons, if you are wanting a stress-free, beautiful send off for a loved one!

Perfect professional funeral planning
This funeral director handled our Mother's funeral perfectly. Our many and varied requests were all carried out professionally and sensitively. Professional and respectful service
From our first contact the staff at G Gamble & Sons were extremely professional, respectful and supportive. We had absolutely no concerns that the funeral would not run smoothly as we felt all of our needs had been addressed. Every member of staff that we dealt with was compassionate and understanding. The level of service and respect was second to none. At an extremely emotional time we were treated impeccably. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Caring, friendly and professional service at it's old fashioned best.
I now know the team at G Gamble (Quorn) very well. Over recent weeks they have arranged the funeral for my best mate and more recently helped me to say farewell to my partner of 20 years. I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to cope with two funerals in quick succession without their assistance, understanding, professionalism and gentle humour when needed. Jane, Ben and Richard were my closest of allies throughout and I feel I have become friends - even if, for good reason, I plainly admit to not wanting to see them again. They were all so caring but remained pragmatic and patient, whilst accepting and adapting to my specific wishes and ideas. I really couldn't recommend them highly enough. And thanks muchly for the numerous cups of tea.

We had gambles when my gran passed away in 2020.so there was no doubt we would be using them again obviously not as soon has we would want ...thay treated my mum with respect & dignity as she deserved thankyou so so much for everything from lisa & Martin & philp Emery x

Look no further!
If you want commitment, empathy, sensitivity and respect for yourself and your loved one then this is the company for you. John Maltby is ably at the helm and leads the team; we had Andy to look after us who was just fantastic in every way. He made sure we were happy every step of the way leading up to the funeral and on the day he led the way quietly and confidently. They made a terribly sad time more bearable and I thoroughly recommend the team.

Excellent service and care
We received outstanding service during the lead up to and on the day of my Grandads funeral. Ben, who helped with the planning of the funeral answered all of our queries efficiently and with care. Ben helped with all of the details regarding the funeral, meaning the day was perfect and exactly what we wished for our Grandad. Highly recommend.

I was particularly pleased and impressed when Ben helped me to sit in a pew that was ideal for my situation as per the telephone call I made on Monday 11th March.

Tylers funeral
When my son passed away I chose gamble and sons in quorn. They did everything to make Tyler's funeral a good one. They are all amazing so kind caring and compassionate they gave me a five star service. All of the team there are incredible and I cant thank them enough for what they did for my son ben gave him a very personalised funeral and that was amazing.
Gamble and sons in quorn give you a five star service I would only have them if anyone wants to arrange the perfect send of for your loved ones I cannot thank them enough for what they did.

Steeped in tradition, a genuinely independent family firm whose people do this as their vocation in life.
I visited almost all of the funeral directors in the Loughborough and surrounding areas before deciding that this was by far the best. Every other, whilst nice, felt impersonal. This place, tucked away in peaceful Quorn is a little slice of history. As good as their words, the personal service, their deference to the departed and care throughout with everything was second to none. They helped me deliver an outstanding farewell service, going absolutely above and beyond any usual expectations, whilst always being mindful of the costs throughout. (After initially investigating these were also found to be cheaper than the large chains.)
My utter heartfelt gratitude to Ben, John and absolutely everyone there, for carrying me through such a devastating time, no one could have done it better!

We recently had to engage the services of Gambles. Our son died very suddenly and unexpectedly. Ben led us through the whole process of organising our son’s funeral. Stunning service from Ben and the team.
From the first call until the day of the funeral for my Grandma, Ben was amazing, offering the most comforting, assured service. His attention to detail and listening to what we wanted was perfect. He offered suggestions about things we hadn’t considered but also worked with us to get the service Grandma would have wanted. My family are all extremely pleased and my Grandma was respected and she had all her wishes met. The costs are all transparent and offer good value for money. Ben you should be very proud of yourself. You showed us such compassion and empathy, something you would imagine takes decades to get right but you obviously have it built into your soul and showed a level of service and maturity beyond measure. I will recommend you to everyone.
